Toshiba Dynabook SS RX2/WAJ Notebook W/Built-in WiMAX

Toshiba have came up with its first new WiMAX-ready notebook for Japanese market, known as the Dynabook SS RX2/WAJ. This 12.1-inch (1,280×800) notebook sports an Intel Core 2 Duo SU9400 (1.40GHz) processor, a maximum 3GB of RAM, 512GB of SSD 512GB, Intel GS45 Express Chipset, 12-hours of battery usage, and DVD super-multi burner. Other features include three USB 2.0 ports, Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n, Gigabit Ethernet, WiMAX and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, D-Sub15 pin for connectivity options, including biometric fingerprint sensor for security enhanced. It is pre-installed with Windows Vista Business including Office Personal 2007 and PowerPoint 2007 applications. The Dynabook SS RX2/WAJ will hit Japan later next month for 438,000 Yen or about US$4,443 after conversion.

Asus Eee PC 1000HG With WIMAX

While LG have its 3G HSPA-ready X120 netbook , Asus also showing off its Eee PC 1000HG netbook that support both WiMAX and Wi-Fi connectivity during 2009 MWC in Barcelona, Spain. Features include a 10-inch LED-backlit LCD display, 160GB HDD, IEEE 802.16e, WAVE2 and Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n at 2.4GHz~2.7GHz as well as 5.1GHz~5.8GHz bands. Along with the Eee PC 1000H, Asus also showcased couple Eee PC 1003HA and Eee PC T91. Both of netbook comes include Huawei’s EM770 3.5G modules that has specially designed for Windows 7 OS.
