Toshiba have came up with its first new WiMAX-ready notebook for Japanese market, known as the Dynabook SS RX2/WAJ. This 12.1-inch (1,280×800) notebook sports an Intel Core 2 Duo SU9400 (1.40GHz) processor, a maximum 3GB of RAM, 512GB of SSD 512GB, Intel GS45 Express Chipset, 12-hours of battery usage, and DVD super-multi burner. Other features include three USB 2.0 ports, Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n, Gigabit Ethernet, WiMAX and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, D-Sub15 pin for connectivity options, including biometric fingerprint sensor for security enhanced. It is pre-installed with Windows Vista Business including Office Personal 2007 and PowerPoint 2007 applications. The Dynabook SS RX2/WAJ will hit Japan later next month for 438,000 Yen or about US$4,443 after conversion.

Toshiba officially announced its newest Dynabook Satellite PXW series notebook PC that schedule to hit Japan market from late of April. The laptops will be available in two models; The PXW/57HW (119,900 Yen) that packs Core 2 Duo P8600 (2.40GHz), Intel GM45 Express Chipset, and the PXW/55HW (103,900 Yen) which loads a Celeron 585 (2.16GHz) CPU and Intel GL40 Express Chipset. Other features include a maximum 4GB of RAM, 250GB of HDD, DVD super-multi drive, Windows Vista Home Premium OS, and 15.4-inch display at 1,280×800 resolution (in WXGA).
