Today Lenovo launched new slim laptop called ThinkPad X300 and this laptop will be the serious Apple Macbook Air competitor.
This laptop weight only 2,93 pon and Lenovo claimed that ThinkPad X300 has more complete features than Macbook Air. This laptop boasts with 3 US drive, optical drive and also a  slim DVD burner and DVD-RW drive. For comparison, Macbook Air only has a USB drive and not come with optical drive.
ThinkPad X300 thickness  0,73 inch ( front ) and 0,92 inch ( back ), this laptop bigger than Macbook Air ( 0,16 inch Front and 0,76 inch Back ).

Tom Ribble ( Lenovo Marketing Director ) said  this laptop armoured with lithium polimer battery that more powerful than litium ion battery so you can use this laptop longer with lithium polimer battery. Also ThinkPad X300 supplied with  Wimax, Intel Core 2 Duo Duo SL7100 LV low-voltage chip processor and also this laptop claimed can save energy more than 25% compare with old thinkpad laptops.

This laptop targeted for bussines customer, if you interested with this laptop you can buy it for US$ 2.799 and I think this is fair price for ThinkPad X300.
