MARSHAL Japan presented its new MAL-BDP02U2 portable Blu-ray Disc recorder in Japan for 24,800 Yen. The MAL-BDP02U2 boasts a writing speed of BD-R/RE (1 layer) x2, BD-R/RE (2 layer) x1, DVD±R x8 DVD±RW x4, and CD-RW x8. It can work via USB 2.0 interface and compatible with Windows 2000/XP or Vista, but it should normally also work on Mac.
