Measures a mere 0.3-inch thick and weighs 10.2 ounces, Kindle 2 is lighter than a typical paperback and as thin as most magazines. Barely a third of an inch in profile, you’ll find Kindle fits perfectly in your hands. It features a 6-inch E-Ink electronic paper display with 600 x 800 resolution at 167 ppi, 16-level gray scale, 2GB of onboard storage, USB 2.0 port for charging and sync, rear-mounted stereo speakers, a 3.5mm stereo jack, and integrated EVDO modem with fallback to 1xRTT for 3G connectivity.
