Mitsubishi have came up with its latest HC3800 Full HD 1080p projector that incorporating DLP technology, BrilliantColor technology, including the new digital micromirror device (DMD) which promised to delivers smooth, true reproduction into finely detailed images with no noise or deterioration.  The HC3800 boasts 1920×1080p native resolution and 1920×1200 max resolution, 4000:1 contrast ratio and 1300 lumens brightness. There also a six-segment color wheel and  has a 1.5x HD zoom lens and lens throw ratio of 1.52 – 2.26. The HC3800 can throw an image from 50-inch to 300-inch and offers up to 5000 hours of lamp life. As for connectivity, you’ll get D-sub, S-video, RCA inputs, HDMI port and a RS232C connector. The Mitsubishi HC3800 expect to hit the stores from later of this year for about $1395.

Canon To Launch Three New Multimedia Projector

Canon of USA has recently strengthened its REALiS LCD multimedia projectors with Three New Models. The three new models, including the LV-8300 ( $1,399) boasts a resolution of 1280×800 resolution with 3000 lumens brightness, the LV-7375 ($1,799) and LV-7370 ($1,299) which holds a tittle as the Canon’s first native WXGA widescreen, featuring 1024×768 resolution with 3500 lumens and 3000 lumens brightness, respectively. Both of projector also features 500:1 contrast ratio, 1.2x zoom lens, integrated 7W speakers, whiteboard mode, screen color correction and an ergonomic design. As for connectivity, these models loads DVI-I, D-Sub, S-Video, Composite inputs, and an Ethernet port.

Sanyo has added the new PDG-DHT100L DLP projector into its comprehensive projector lineup. Announced recently, the PDG-DHT100L uses a single-chip DLP projector boasting a native resolution at 1920×1080 pixel, along with 6,500 ANSI lumens. Other features include contrast ratio of 7,500:1, 25,000 hours-use Active Maintenance Filter which automatically senses when airflow is obstructed by dust and prompts you to change the filter, a picture-by-picture and picture-in-picture functions, and connections include HDMI, DVI-D, VGA, S-video and five BNC connections. For network connections, there is an RJ45 jack and USB port. A nine-pin serial port for input and output is likewise includes, while another VGA output acts as a monitor output. The DHT100L is also compatible with Sanyo’s Uncompressed HD Data Wireless Transmission System, which is an option. The system can send slightly lower video resolutions (1080i or 720p) without wires up to distances of 100 feet.

Mitsubishi has a spanking new XD221U classroom projector that offers users a 10-watt speaker and audio mix capability. The XD221U incorporating Texas Instruments’ DLP technology that provides brightness at 2300 ANSI lumens and a native XGA (1024 x 768 pixels) resolution, 4000 hours of lamp life. It also loads BrilliantColor technology which creates clear, vivid images from a computer or video signal. Other features include operates with noise level of only 26 dBA in low mode, dual VGA , S-Video, RCA video inputs, two separate 3.5mm audio inputs and a special built-in audio mixer so the projector can simultaneously project audio from two sources, such as a DVD and a third-party wireless microphone. No idea on pricing, but the XD221U is currently available at authorized Mitsubishi dealers and backed three-year limited warranty.

At a weighing only 8 lbs, the projector boasts a 3,200 ANSI lumens, 2,400:1 contrast ratio, and Native XGA resolution at 1,024 x 768. The D725VX also loads detachable keypad on top which also function as a remote control and security feature. The projector needs the keypad in order to power up, so a user could take the pad with them and safely leave the rest of the projector in the room. The Vivitek D725VX is now available for $1,299.
