CTO Japan is going to release the Everex StepNote VC1700J notebook PC on July 18th in Japan. Technically speaking, the 17-inch (WXGA+) notebook PC sports a Celeron T1600 1.66GHz processor, a 4GB of RAM, Intel GM45 Express Chipset, 250GB of HDD, and DVD super-multi drive. Otherwise, you’ll get ExpressCard slot, 3-in-1 memory card reader, three USB 2.0 port, eSATA, Gigabit Ethernet, WI-Fi IEEE 802.11b/g/n, and DVI for connectivity options. The Everex StepNote VC1700J is pre-installed with Windows Vista Home Premium.
