The MSI GT725 is the latest gaming notebook from the Taiwan-based computer manufacture ( MSI ) that available in the U.S with three models; the MSI GT725-074US with the Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 2.4GHz processor, the GT725-075US with the Core 2 Duo P9500 at 2.53GHz, and the 2GHz Core 2 Quad Q9000-based GT725-212US, along with Mobility Radeon HD 4850 dedicated video card with 512MB of DDR3 VRAM, 4GB of DDR2 system memory, a 320GB hard drive, and Drive Engine Technology for CPU overclocking when on AC power on each models. The difference is that the GT725-075US packs a 1680×1050 display and a DVD burner, while the GT725-075US and the GT725-212US has a “full HD” 1920 x 1200 screen with a Blu-Ray combo drive. The GT725 notebooks also sport four speakers and a subwoofer, Dolby sound technology, 9-cell battery, a built-in 2MP web cam, 802.11a/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, and a 56K modem.

Weighing at 7 pounds, these notebook PC also has include HDMI and VGA outputs, three USB 2.0 ports, an eSATA/USB combo, an ExpressCard slot, a 4-in-1 media card reader, and Firewire for connectivity options. Both has pre-installed with Windows Vista Home Premium Operating System.  The MSI GT725-074US, GT725-075US, and GT725-212US are priced at $1,350, $1,579, and $1,600 respectively.
